System Design
System design needs to address several fundamental questions:
- Can everyone hear, and is it loud enough?
This is largely a matter of speaker efficiency, power amplifier size, and distance from speaker to listener. Computer aided design (CAD) programs provide us with excellent predictions of loudspeaker coverage.We use EASE (Enhanced Acoustic Simulator for Engineers) for this analysis.
- Can everyone understand?
Reverberation is sound energy that takes time to decay and often is a problem especially when the sound don't decay simutaniously over the spectar. We recommend the addition of acoustical material to either diffuse or absorb the sound as needed.
- Will it feedback?
Well, that is operator's sole responsibility, assuming that the equipment is properlly installed.
- Is it versatile and easy to operate?
Newelly designed digital interface is versatile enough to accommodate many demands that the performers will place on the system, as well as keep it simple enough for everyone to use.

Skyline Studios

First opened in 1979, is a legendary space that has hosted sessions by David Bowie, Nile Rodgers, Lou Reed, Puff Daddy and many others. Several times meticulously restored and updated but the live room and its famously good acoustics was left untouched. The studio is the perfect environment for everything from chamber ensembles to live rock bands to large-scale film and TV productions.
Powerhouse Studios
Yonkers, NY
Power House Recording is a family run business 20 minutes from the city off the waterfronts of Yonkers. Started by founders of the Ruff Ryders record label in the early 1990’s when music was on its way to greatness. Power House Recording created avenues for today’s biggest artists. With its red carpet reputation it became the home to over 30 million in albums sales, platinum artists and Grammy award winning albums.
PMG was involved from creating the blueprints, trough the construction and equipment insstallation process. Building "room in room" by floating floors and all walls and manufacturing custum acustic treatements.
Installed: vintage Neve VR72 console, Studer A827 (2), ProTools 48 ch, Augsburger speaker system with Brystone aplifiers and over $200,000 in outboard gear.
